Losing a loved one is the most painful experience as a human being. For me I wanted to keep them physically close all the time.I chose the little urn so that when I travel I could bring the ashes with me.When it arrived truly it is above what the picture shows on the Amazon App.It is made out of metal and at the bottom there is a stopper that you twist to open and close. The purple facing looks and feels like amethyst stone. The hole is wide enough to be able to transfer the ashes without or little spillage.This product is a forever.
